I've handmade this gorgeous batik quilted challah cover / centerpiece mat with the Hebrew words for Shabbat Shalom or peace of the Sabbath appliqued:  Shalom on one side and Shabbat on the other.  

You can use this beautiful piece to help pray for peace in Israel.

This challah cover or table mat can be used for every Shabbat.  You can use the Shalom side for any Yom Tov.

This one of a kind (OOAK) piece is made completely of 100 % cotton batiks (all preshrunk) as pictured.    The back is a solid brillant rose pink batik as show in the pictures. It is also incluced on the front.  

I handmade the Hebrew letters, Hamsa, and Star of David, and appliqued them on...I used the multi colored batik that is featured on the front of this cover.  The Shabbat hebrew is appliqued with a gorgeous royal blue.
The letters measure about 3.5" to 4" in height.

Dimensions:  20" wide (horizontal width) x 16" high

This gorgeous reversible Judaica mat makes an awesome centerpiece for any simcha (hostess, housewarming, engagement, wedding) and every Shabbat, and certainly is large enough to cover 2 loaves of challah.

Machine wash and dry (cold recommended, no bleach of any kind), light ironing may be needed.
