This silk challah cover is rectangular (the pictures do not adequately show that this piece is a perfect rectangle). This Judaica ceremonial challah cover is one of a kind and is something that you may wish to pass down through your family.

Dimensions: 21" wide (horizontal width) x 17" high

This one of a kind (OOAK) piece is made raw duponi silk on the main side with Venise lace that I hand stitched to the silk.

I machine stitched the lace and HaMotzi blessing, the blessing used over the Challah for all simchas and Jewish occasions (especially for a golden wedding anniversary).

I machine stitched the 100 % white cotton lining (the back).

Please hand wash only. .

The center white Venise lace features a Tree of Life and is accented by lace with ribbon.

The four corners feature beautiful flower white Venise lace appliques.


This challah cover or table mat can be used for any Simcha including a wedding, anniversary, engagement since the word Shabbat does not appear on either side of the mat.

This gorgeous fully lined Judaica gift makes an awesome centerpiece for any simcha and certainly is large enough to cover 2 loaves of challah.

I can make many other designs with venise lace (I carry many other types of lace in white and ivory), lace edgings, lace with ribbon, silk (colors--white, ivory, silver, gold, deep rose, purple, iridescent blue/lilac, black, brown, royal blue).

I can make matching yarmulkes as well -- plain silk or with venise lace. Please email me for a price.
