1" wide black nylon adjustable handles with a minimum drop of 10" to a maximum drop of 17" so you will have plenty of room to carry this tote purse comfortable with a winter coat or in a tee shirt.

two outside zippered pocket: 8" wide x 10" long/high --- plenty of room for a water bottle, small book, your tablet, pens, pencils and so on.

Stands up by itself for easy loading and unloading.

inside:

--- two zippered pockets: black main one is 8.5" wide x 12.5" high/long with the other purple 8.5" wide x 8" high

---the other side sports a separate area for papers with 12 organizing slot pockets -- open on the top --- great for organizing pens pencils, scissors, knitting needles

---inner hook for attaching other times such as small pouches and other bags---add one of my zippered pouches
