Tuff Bags® Care instructions, materials used and how Care instructions and general cleaning for your hand-crafted Tuff Bags

  • A damp cloth or sponge is generally sufficient to wipe off the daily grime from your bag.
  • The urethane pack cloth naturally repels liquids, dirt, mildew, and other grime.
  • The textile industry rates our pack cloth as DWR (durable water repellent), which is just one rating below waterproof.
  • All TuffBaggs are machine washable (cold water only).
  • However, in order to maintain the DWR / water repellence of your product, we recommend that you surface wash first and limit the amount of machine washing to rare occasions.
  • We only recommend air drying of your bag -- our bags dry very quickly. Do not dry the bag in any other way (no machine dryer or air dryers).
  • Never dry clean your bag.
  • Never use use chlorine or non-chlorine bleach.
  • cotton kippahs / yarmulkes can be machines washed and dried.
  • Tapestry kippahs and the tapestry trim kippahs must be dry cleaned.
  • Matzo cases can be machine washed and dried.
